Trinbago Express wishes to advise all our valued customers due to Covid the Customs & Excise has implemented an Appointment System at all Bonded warehouses.
A limited number of appointments are offered daily. Presently at the Barrel Shop there has been a backlog resulting in customers not being able to collect their cargo on a timely basis. The inability of customers to collect their cargo immediately has also negatively impacted on container un- stuffing due to the unavailability of space.
This situation is strictly beyond our control, it is not only having a negative effect on customer service experience, but also unwarranted cost due to the lengthy retention of containers on the Port. As we enter the Christmas peak, it is anticipated that this situation will worsen. To continue to better serve and meet your expectations we have taken a decision to unstuff some of our containers at ISL’S Warehouse facility in El Soccoro.
While we appreciate that change is difficult to accept, and sometimes comes at a cost, this decision was made purely in the best interest of our customers to ensure timely delivery before the Christmas holidays. Please note at this facility the handling charge is higher, but rest assured, cargo delivery would be faster and hassle free.
